Real Assets
Creating opportunities and realizing the full potential of an investment often requires expanding borders and looking beyond borders. Mgrcp's Real Assets business provides global access to diversified investment opportunities across the value chain of real assets. Our platform and extensive network of local market relations enable the generation of coordinated deals across multiple sectors and geographies. Today, our Real Assets business manages $40 billion in real estate, infrastructure and energy assets around the world.
Real Estate
Mgrcp's ten active real estate funds offer our global investors unique opportunities in Europe and the United States. Our funds focus on the acquisition of single-property assets rather than large-scale real-estate portfolio companies. Our team of more than 100 real estate investment professionals has made more than 1,200 investments, including but not limited to residential and retail properties, industrial properties, self-storage properties, office buildings and hotels. Today, our real estate funds are managing more than $18 billion in assets.
Infrastructure
Mgrcp infrastructure business consists of teams investing in six primary sectors: energy infrastructure, water and waste, transport, digital infrastructure, power generation and renewable energy. We manage over $4 billion in assets across four funds, including our Global Infrastructure Opportunities Fund, our North American Power Fund, and our new renewable and sustainable energy strategy launched in 2019. Mgrcp Infrastructure Funds present our investors with a scalable platform across a wide range of infrastructure sectors, geographies, durations and risk-return profiles.
Energy
Our energy investments focus on buyouts, growth capital and strategic joint ventures in the midstream, upstream, energy and oil services sectors around the world. We are currently investing our North American energy through our partnership with NGP, an energy investor based in Irving, Texas. NGP provides advice to eight funds with more than $10 billion in assets under management. In addition, our international energy investment team focuses on investments across the energy value chain outside of North America and manages more than $6 billion of assets across two funds.
